Today is a great day!

Good morning!

Today is a good day (so far!).  we are now live and kicking on the Not on the High Street website, please check us out!

http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/retrophenia

this means so much to us and our many hours working very hard are paying off.  We are still very much in our early days of our new business.  it's just hubby and little ole me doing something we love and which appears you all love too!

Wishing you all a great day too - Happy Thursday!

Christmas decorations with a difference....

Sometimes you see something that you just have to have and although at the time you have no idea why you want it or what you are going to do with it, you know you just have to have it.

And this is just how it was when on one of our many travels we stumbled across a dusty old box full of vintage antlers.  Over time we have grown strangely attached to the antlers even going so far as to naming them yet still not knowing what to do with them.  That was until tonight, when thinking about Christmas decorations and themes for this year realised we already had our theme sitting in a box keeping warm by the radiator.

Although we have a very limited number of these truly vintage antlers, we have after much deliberation decided to share them with you, so if you are looking for a christmas decoration with a difference and one that can be handed down through the generations or just want something other than holly wreath for the front door this year then look no further.

They also make amazing coat and towel hooks and have proven to be a real conversation piece.

Good loving homes are sought for Snowball and friends who can be found here Christmas Antlers.  With the ever growing trend for antler & stag prints and designs on all manner of products this season it will be tearfull farewell as we dont expect our friends to be around for long

Time flies when you're having fun...

Well it has definitely been a busy couple of weeks...so much has happened.

We had a brilliant day at Ardingly Fair on Tuesday and picked up some great items which will be appearing on our website in the coming weeks.   We are sure you will love them as much as we do.   Our son (5yo) was even filmed wearing a top hat (which he convinced me to buy so that he could become Willy Wonka!) and was sat eating his chips with his friend when the film crew from Bargain Hunt couldn't resist filming :-)   The show is due out next March - you can see a pic of him modelling it at http://www.twitpic.com/photos/retrophenia such a cutie!

Our ad is in December's issue of Living etc

There is lots more to tell but we are keeping things under wraps for a little longer....

Until then x

Just finished updating our site with first set of coastal bus blinds.  Please take a look & let us know what you think. More to follow this eve.

Morning!   We are just launching our first product, take a peek at our site, very exciting! Dipping our toes into the great unknown......we were going to launch our site with vintage bus destination blinds however we found these fab flags and decided to 'open' our shop early and share this limited stock with you before they all go (or before our son takes them - as I type this he's running round the garden waving them around wildly!)

Tell us what you think.
